The 2015 Teamsters Women's Conference was held on August 27th thru August 29th in Boston, MA.
Teamsters Local 919 attendees included: Janet Fields, Barbara Williams, Gaynell Martinez, Lydia Elizonda, and retirees Velma Hogue and Pearlie DeLoach.
The speakers at each day's General Assembly were very dynamic. The daily workshops available were varied and provided helpful information on topics ranging from TITAN, teamster benefits, FMLA, and building teamster unity.
After each day's General Session and workshops we had an opportunity to explore and experience the ambience and flavor of Boston. The weather was great, the people were very friendly & helpful, and the food (especially the grilled chicken wings at Tavitas, located in the train station) was excellent.
